let's get to the coverage with roberta gonzalez. but let's start with jackie moore near alameda creek where the search is on for a missing person. >>reporter: a teenage driver was on her way to visit families on the peninsula. she was driving from tracy. when she never showed up at her family's place, they filed a missing person's report. chp arrived on the scene of an accident and they pieced it together. this rushing water is treacherous enough, but further upstream is even more - it's even more dangerous and too dangerous to put divers? . >> because there's a bridge there and we believe the creek is deeper in that location. >> for now, it's a waiting game with mother nature and the state has to authorize the water to be turned over at the dell -- the dams are down because of the recent rain so water is not being diverted to the lake, but that will change later. >> we're on the call with department of water resources and -- we're going to discuss the water flows. >> around midnight tonight, they're expecting water levels to natura

. >>> and roberta gonzalez has been tracking this system in the weather center. how long will this stick around, until next monday? >> we have a series of storms rolling into the bay area, but you'll need that umbrella on again and off again through next monday. let's fire it up with our radar. we see a lot of green and yellow on screen as we zero in. you can see the pockets around miranda wood and larksburg and mill valley. east bay, you've been getting hammered around the bay. from berkeley to oakland. a little break parts of santa clara valley. up the peninsula we go to our 20 minute delays on [indiscernible] arriving flights due to precipitation. all this right now continues to lift up in an northeasterly direction. it's sagging by the south. by the evening commute, we're going to have pockets of heavy rain and the gust will gust up to 40 mile-per-hour and we want to tell you how much rain to expect to track the next storm and the one after that. that's coming up later on. >>> drivers heading along interstate 80 should prepare to put chains on the vehicles. w

so we have live team coverage both anne makovec and roberta gonzalez are out there tracking the storms. roberta is looking at the local creeks. that is what we're focusing on in terms of this urban and small stream flooding. even if we don't have areas that generally flood we may actually see some localized flooding along those creeks and small streams. we're going to head to roberta who is live now along one of the creeks in pleasanton. good morning to you, what are you seeing? >> reporter: good morning. very busy, it's currently in the upper 40s in pleasanton and winds whipped up to 30 miles per hour. now subsiding. the light rain continues to fall. i have to tell you off the bat i've been a resident here of pleasanton the last 21 years, never before have i seen it rain so many days consecutively, so much flooding consecutively and so much debris on the roadways. i have a little story -- locally we have a creek we're fond of, called the aarroya de la laguna creek. it's a trickle all the time. now a roaring river through pleasanton. this creek is usually 7.5 miles long. i usually run
