we're seeing some light breeze moving in from the southwest toward the northeast.e you can see mainly clouds across the area. hour-by-hour forecast starting at 11:00 p.m. really important because you're going to see a break and then more rain headed in our direction. we start this at 11:00 p.m. and we can see some heavier down pours for the southern portion of our region including delaware, southern new jersey as well. as we get this going by 9:00 a.m. doesn't look like much is going on. we do have some is more rain headed our way. some heavier down pours make it around tomorrow afternoon, right around 3, 4, 5:00 p.m. and then we get another break and that's when we get the heavier batch, that coastal storm starting to develop offshore and picking off a lot of energy. we start to see heavier down pours for your early monday morning commute. as we get this going, we could see a wintry mix for parts of the lehigh valley but the big story is all of that rain moving from the southwest towards the northeast, heavy down pours at times. now i do have two models right now.

> police say they know who is responsible for stabbing death of the zero seven year-old woman in southwest philadelphia cherri gregg from our sister station kyw news radio live at police headquarters with more details what do we know here, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, rahel. we know that 70 year-old woman was found stabbed, multiple times and police believe that a relative is responsible, and they are now on the the hunt for the woman's 29 year-old grandson, and lets take a look at the video that we have from the scene, from saturday night , that is the 7900 block of caesars place a quiet block in the eastwick section of southwest philadelphia. that is where many of the residents lived there, they stay there for years but it is on this block that police found the victim inside of her home just have after 6:00 p.m. saturday. she was pronounced at the scene. no weapons have yet been located. police have not yet identified the victim by name but neighbor victor jackson affectionately refers to her as miss jerry. he says that she was a great conversationlist and was very well liked

so take a look down to the southwest. can see it's passing now through parts of washington nearing baltimore. we've got the clouds which we've been seeing throughout today. that's going to be heading our direction. so we pull it out a little more, you can see all the rain. the yellow and orange indicating areas of strength that the system has, which will allow the pockets of heavier storms move through. the good news is this is overnight again. really unless you've got evening plans, it's not going to be a big problem because the bulk of it is all out by the time that we get to tomorrow morning's rush. here is a look at the temperatures. it's pretty obvious if you step outside there's been a big warm up out there. we're 50s now in philadelphia. 46 mount holly and wilmington. take a look at the 24-hour change. this is a difference between yesterday during our 5:00 p.m. newscast and now. 14 degrees warmer in philadelphia. 11 in dover. and 10 in atlantic city. and the warm up is not done yet. in fact, we're going to see temp

thousands of viral views, alleging police misconduct in southwest philly. a 16-year-old girl touching the officer who is advancing. we don't see what happens when the camera turns away but the next second, the 16-year-old is on 54th street. both appear to be swinging their arms. the 16-year-old's best friend was right there. >> she lost her mom. she don't got nobody. she was there for me and look where she at. >> reporter: she says her friend did nothing wrong but admits there was a fight involving as many as 30 people including the 16-year-old's legal guardian. >> they throw me against the car, slam her on the ground. she's 16 years old. the cop shouldn't have done that. >> reporter: turns out this isn't the only angle. video we saw on instagram shows a large brawl. officers can seen and its the purging and grappling but this angle doesn't know the 16-year-old and the officer and specifically what happened when the camera turned away. still the altercation is quickly spreading across social media in philadelphia. >> it's all of. the officer looking at the

. >> gunshots rang out again in southwest philadelphia tonight.e responded to the 5600 block of ridge wood street at 8:30, officers found a 25-year-old man shot in the stomach, they took him to penn presbyterian hospital where he is now in critical condition and the last week and a half police in the southwest detective division responded to at least nine shootings, two of them were deadly. in west philadelphia tonight a 37-year-old was shot twice in the head and once in the neck. the incident happened on the 5100 block of irving street at 6:30 and rushed to penn presbyterian where he is in critical condition, police are searching for a shooter. the family of a man gunned down in delaware over the weekend is sharing his story in hopes of catching his killer. 66-year-old charles mayes was shot several times while driving near the 2200 block of lamont street in willington saturday afternoon and rushed to the hospital but did not survive and his sister says the recent out break of violence in wilmington has been hard to comprehend. >> why so much kil

hours into early tomorrow morning, this is where we get the bulk of this system moving in from the southwest towards the northeast. so by tomorrow, 11:00 a.m., everybody's getting widespread rain, pockets of heavy downpours along the jersey shore, delaware as well seeing some heavy downpours and it looks like we will see a changeover over to a wintry mix. but probably the bigger story is this hour by hour wind gusts, starting at 6:00 p.m. right now we're starting to see an increase in those wind speeds and wind gusts. by tonight, notice we're seeing wind gusts coming out of the northeast ranging anywhere from 17 to 30 miles an hour but they start to pick up in the overnight hours, and early tomorrow morning, the big concern by about 7:00, 8:00, 9:00 a.m., is the fact that we're seeing wind gusts topping out at about 50, 60 miles an hour. so this nor'easter is really a major deal because we do have so much rain but we have such strong wind speeds and wind gusts moving into the area, pushing easterly, so notice we're seeing right along the jersey shore, 63-mile-per-hour wind gusts. now coming
