here's a look from sutro tower and you can see the breezes are picking up but the most damaging onesill be during the afternoon and evening hours when those heavier showers in the lightning, possible thunder storms come in. showers will linger tomorrow and more storms. still a 2 today, still moderate, heavier rain and strong damaging winds this afternoon and a lot of ponding on the roadways during the evening commute. 7:00 and the best radar returns are going to be on the peninsula and up in the north bay. by 9:00 a little bit more in the way of steadier rain but that really moves in around noon, becoming heavy at times and then here's the cold front offshore at 4:00, waves of moderate to heavy rain, they'll pick up in intensity as we head towards 7:00 and linger through about 10:00 and then we'll see a retreat back to moderate showers and then to light showers overnight. so our rainfall totals are going to be nearing 2/3 inch in the rain shadow in the south bay. the rest of us, 2 to 3 inches from the victisanta cruz mounta. even north bay mountains. i'll take a look at today aes sto
