it is february. we should expect this. man these temperatures certainly feeling spring like and like middle spring, 70 in philadelphia high temperature about 25 above average. broke the previous record established in 1948. a longstanding record. we got to 71 degrees in wilmington establishing a new record, a record in trenton at 69 and records for both reading and allentown with high temperatures at 68. still extremely mild at this late hour. 54 degrees. we're about ten degrees above our average high temperature. 50 in the lehigh valley. 40's in the poconos, 47 right now in atlantic city. we topped at 70 but we are going to see a back door cold front drop in it will allow cooler air to spill in. the temperatures are going to take a hit due to the northerly wind from the high temperature projected 54. again that's still about ten degrees above average. a cool-down but not going to be too brutal but brief with possibly more record breaking warmth in store i'll let you know when to expect temperatures back in the 70's. coming

not even in the teens in february. for the warmest high, well that was 70 degrees just yesterday. hopefully you were outside to enjoy that one. look at the calendar over the month of february. the orange color indicates above average day, of course the blue below average days. there's only five days below average and the range of low averages starting the month of 41. you can see right now we're trending again above average which is 45 degrees for today and we filled out the calendar for the rest of the month with our forecast. we continue above average. as for snow totals that's another where we're below average and those conditions. tracking eight inches so far. what we have seen this season for snow totals, 26.2 last year in philly. in allentown look at that difference, 25 inch difference between this year and last season and you see it's a pretty wide range between wilmington and atlantic city as well between 20 inches last year and only around five to seven this year. so overall we've seen less snow than is normal
