equipment shipped down to mexico and i walked through this plant. it was about 100 degrees that particular day. and i turned the corner. there were no fans taking out the exhaust. it was bloody hot and it had to be 110 degrees. the men were working. they had t-shirts on and it was very hot that summer and they were pulling down these large levers because they were melting plastic and rubber. and i witnessed this and i thought, boy, that really looks dangerous with that thing they were pulling down because it was moving like this. i said, boy, they have to really pay attention every time they move that steam press down so they don't catch their arm in there. i took pictures and sent them back to ohio. i got a letter from one of my constituents and this constituent said, congresswoman, did you really look at the picture you took? i thought, wow, i was looking at the workers. look at the machine up in the right-hand corner, the button with the tape over it. there was this button and i said, oh, yeah. he said, i used to do that job. you know what that button is? i said no. that's the safety button. in other words, when the
