. >> i'm pat lawson muse. the frantic search has been going on for six hours, in and around the jessop, maryland area. the suspect is a 28-year-old, who was serving time for attempted murder. he escaped from custody while be transferred to a state mental facility. we're starting to learn more about the suspect and just how he got away. chris gordon has been on the scene all day and joins us live outside the hospital center. chris, what's the latest? >> reporter: well, leon and pat, police say that he this parking lot this morning. they don't know if the escape was planned or impromptu, but they believe he should be considered dangerous. they have been looking with search teams. they have been out looking for him all day. armed police follow k-9 units, through the wednesday and along railroad tracks. a helicopter flies overhead, looking for 28-year-old david m. watson, the prisoner who escaped this morning. watson is serving time for attempted murder in delaware. watson faces charges of attempting to murder pol

. >>> i'm pat lawson muse with a closer look at a timeline as we follow the money. in flynn earned $45,000 at a gala for rt, a media organization owned by kremlin. flynn sat next to president vladimir putin. then last fall, flynn's private intelligence company received $530,000 to lobby on behalf of a turkish businessman with links to the turkish government. there's now reporting from politico this week that the turkish company may have been funded by a russian oligarch. nbc news has not confirmed that. the pentagon is investigating whether flynn violated a law prohibiting top officials from receiving payments from foreign governments. retired generals are bound by the law, because they could be called back to service at any time. and the big question is whether flynn informed the defense department. we didn't file paperwork as a foreign agent until march. flynn's lawyer said he did inform the defense intelligence agency of his foreign dealings in 2015, but a letter sent to the house oversight committee says there's no record of that. back to you. >> pat, thank you.

. >> i'm pat lawson mousse. >> fairfax county spent hours searching the park to comb the area just steps from the glasgow middle school. >> this is the same area where two bodies were found last month. our megan fitzgerald joins us live from the scene. what are they searching for out there now? >> reporter: they tell us they were searching for possible criminal activity but they didn't find anything. they tell us this all started last night when they saw two teens they thought they were smoking marijuana, they went to approach them. those teens took off into homes run park just behind us here. they looked for those teens, didn't find them, they returned back to the scene this morning. it was a startling off for school. k-9 officers walking through the park. police finished their search of the area just before the school day ended. investigators say nothing was found but they're on a heightened sense of awareness. it was just last month that the officers found the remains of two people less than a mile away. now the principal did send home a letter to parents letting them know that police

i'm pat lawson muse. >> i'm jim handly. this intense search has been going on now for about seven hours in and around howard county. they are looking for this 28-year-old david watson who escaped from a van taking him to a hospital in jessup. chris gordon has the latest on the search. >> reporter: well, pat and jim, police tell me they are planning this search hour by hour. let's go up overhead to chopper 4, as we tell you just recently they expanded the grid, the wider area now overwhich they are looking for the escaped prisoner. and they're about to have to make the difficult decision of deciding whether to continue the search tonight, once it gets dark. the search team has found articles of clothing that the escapee was wearing when he fled into the woods. so they don't know exactly what he might be wearing right now. they don't believe he has a weapon, but he is considered dangerous. >> he's currently serving a sentence of more than 100 years in delaware on attempted murder in addition to the delaware charges for convic

pat lawson muse is in the newsroom with new pictures police are hoping will help in the search. >> chris, the woman was stabbed to death forestville, she had no i.d. on her and doesn't match any missing person's description. this afternoon, police sent news4 a composite sketch. they're hoping someone will recognize her face. detectives say she was likely in her early 20s. she was about 5'11", and didn't have any scars, birth marks or tattoos. we also have pictures of the clothing she was wearing when she was discovered. these are her jeans, t-shirt, knit cap and socks. police say they can't get very far into their investigation until they know her name. >> we're asking anybody in the public that may know who this person is. to certainly give us a call or if anybody has information about what may have occurred to our victim, we're asking them to call as well. >> now just before 8:30 on easter sunday morning, the woman knocked on a stranger's door on spring dale avenue in a community just off answered the door, she had collapsed. ems took her to the hospital but she died. neighbors say the
