a procession from oakland made its way to downtown stockton yesterday afternoon. sroeuy khin was on his way home from a 12 hour shift last friday morning. chp investigators say a commuter bus crashed into the deputy's volkwagon beetle on eastbound 580 near tracy. they say - khin's car was either stopped or traveling slowly. when investigators found out khin was a deputy - they covered his body with a us flag - and a procession led his body to the coroner's office in alameda county. khin's family has also set up a gofund me to help with funeral expenses. his funeral is set for this weekend. arrest has been made in the brutal murder of a castro valley woman 36-year-old luckie dacany of stocktonhas been charged with the murder of andrea st. john. the 59 year-old's charred remains were found in the garage of her castro valley home in december of last year. officials say, dacany killed st. john with a knife, then set her house on fire. court documents show he acknowledged responsibility for the homicide .... and provided details only law enforcement would know about the case. dacany faces the death penalty if convicted.
