look at the bay bridge toll plaza. this is typically what we see in the middle of the morning commute. probably worse than what we'd see on a bad day. traffic barely inching along. the backup extends all the way out. 580 in oakland and 480 as well. east shore freeway camera. let's see if it i can pull that up there. to get to the mcarthur maze, according to the traffic sensors will take you an hour. that's also not typically for this time of day. 12:30 in the afternoon, usually you should be breezing through there. east shore freeway backed up. all the way up to albany. close to where 580 and 80 meet in the richmond area. that's a wider look at the traffic maps there too manying in you can see a lot of the red on the left hand side of the screen just past treasure island. that's where the lanes, they've had that lane reduction because of that man sittingen that center anchorage. taking a closer look. the backup extending into oakland. well past 34th street and highway 24 there. so chp says that they are going to be out

a car smashes into a pet store in the north bay. appened just before 9:30 last night in santa rosa. the store is called village pets. it is at a strip mall on montgomery drive and summerfield road. there were no injuries and none of the animals in the store were injured. police have not said what led up to the crash. ( james ) bart police have made a second arrest in connection to the mob attack that happened last month. police are using surveillance video to identify and search for up to sixty teenagers involved in the attack. the mob stormed a train at the coliseum bart station and robbed at least seven passengers and injured two of them in the process. ( james ) happening today. closing arguments in murder trial of sierra lamar's accused killer are set for this morning. the trial is wrapping up after almost three months of witness testimony. 15 year old lamar went missing in march of 20-12. 26-year-old antolin garcia- torres could face the death penalty if convicted. prosecutors say d-n-a evidence links garcia-torres to the crime.

in the north bay, 63 in napa. as you get up and about to get the kids ready for school, it is a cool morning. we start out in the mid 50s for most, but then as we get mostly clear skies, temperatures will be warming up at recess. they'll enjoy their time outside. it will be a comfortable and sunny afternoon. as you get ready to head home from school, driving, and also as we track the weather system, there may be a slight chance of rain for the north bay in the forecast for tomorrow. we see the spin and the swirl of the clouds with this low pressure system as it moves closer to the bay area, we'll all feel the winds picking up and it will be a gusty day on thursday and friday. as far as the clouds, we'll see them hanging just near the coastline throughout the day, and some slight rain chances moving in by tomorrow afternoon. we don't see a lot of it, though. it's near the northern sonoma county area, and there may be some in the coastal marin county area as well. but then the rest of the bay will see an increase in
