this next one is a bit of a landscape and if the california farmer delta war of 1897 and 1916 and this is an interesting one because during this time period we had a large lawsuit going on about the destruction of the environment and i find it interesting that so early in the 1900s they were already getting concern about the environment. i think i find it interesting that from my perspective personally, i didn't realize that time. that the locals were starting to get home concerned because were talking the 1900s they are getting concerned about the instruction of the environment from mining and for me personally i was surprised that was going on so early, i was not aware of that. so the next thing that the gold-mining was very important, an important part of our history but one of the next steps moving into the 1900s was the building of shasta dam. this took place in the mid-30s, to the mid-40s and i find it unique that during the war we are in the process of building one of the largest dams. this book is the shasta dam boomtown because there were so many people working at the dam, we
