i'm consumering investigator chris chmura, nbc bay area responds next. nbc bay area responds.an atherton family who says they were unfairly banned >>> welcome back on your tuesday, 6:25 right now. nbc bay area area responds to a family that says it was unfairly banned from selling on eep. >> they turned to us for help. consumer investigator chris chmura is here with their story. >> reporter: his family often sell items on ebay. his 6th grade daughter really enjoyed by selling lipsticks. but she found she often had to cancel her auctions because she was selling her inventory to her friends at school instead of on ebay. ebay didn't like that his daughter was cancelling auctions so it told her she couldn't sell on the site any more. ebay does state in its user agreement. it row voeked selling pictures from the entire family. and they all have positive reviews. but ebay didn't budge in its decision. so todd reached out to us for help. we contacted ebay and it reinstated the family's account. they are back up on ebay and selling away. ebay didn't respond to our request for comment.
