i'm becky quick along with joe kernen and andrew ross sorkin.esterday we saw a bit of a weakness in the markets. dow was down by 36 points. s&p off by two after friday's selloff, the nasdaq was down by a half percentage point this morning there is a rebound. dow futures indicated up by 38 points s&p up by 5 points nasdaq up by 18 points overnight in asia, you'll see that the nikkei was down but just barely. i would call this flat the south korean kospi index up by 0.7%. the shanghai up by a half percentage point in europe, in early trade, you will see that markets are hanging in there these are some positive moves at this point the dax is up. when it comes to currencies, the canadian dollar rising on hawkish comments from canada's central bank that could signal an interest rate hike. when it comes to energy prices, yesterday crude oil was up up again this morning 14 cents >>> the fed kicking off a two-day policy meeting the central bank widely expected to hike interest rates again after raising them in march. the fed decision due tomorrow at 2:0

becky quick has a look at what's coming up. >> good morning.ll be watching what's happening with the jobs report. that report is due out tomorrow. it's the one we've been waiting for all week. today we will get the adp report that comes out at 8:15. the consensus is for 180,000, i've seen estimates all over the map. so we'll see what happens. it's particularly interesting after what we heard from the fed yesterday with the beige book. mark zandi will be on to talk about this. the beige book showed a labor shortage is affecting more occupations, more regions of the country. a u.s. bank study showed 61% of small business owners say they're having a more difficult time trying to find qualified people to expand their businesses. it is becoming an issue that could affect the economy. we have dan roth on to talk about the linkedin work force report what they've been seeing. all of this will give us a clue about what to expect tomorrow from the official jobs report from the government. we'll speak with larry summers, the former treasury secretary. he

becky, joe, back to you. >> stay right here.diate take on the data we're getting today combined with what we saw last friday from the jobs market, too, and that disappointing number? >> it's two out of the last three big job numbers have been disappointing. one significantly so. so this is just a little worse than expected. this doesn't take anything away from the bigger story and the bigger story is several months ago the stock market believed that things are getting better and there was probably going to be pro growth macro economic policy coming down the pipeline. as that has changed, the numbers have gotten slightly worse, we don't have the same confidence in the pro-growth policy but the market is looking at the fed and said you got our back on this, don't you? but the feds walked back a little bit. if the number start to deteriorate even worse, the feds will talk more dovish and then we'll be in involved in what we've been involved in for the last ten years. >> do you think that explains why we're looking at a 2.2 on the t

i'm becky quick along with andrew ross sorkin and michelle caruso-cabrera joe is off today let's look at the u.s. equity futures. we are poised to open higher, at least for the dow and s&p 500. looks like the dow is up by 24 points after big gains yesterday. the s&p had the best day in more than two months yesterday. it's indicated up by 3.5 points. the nasdaq had the biggest one-day gain since november 7th. this morning slightly negative financials look to be big gainers this morning after gaining yesterday. we will talk more about that the nikkei looks like it closed up by almost half a percentage point. the hang seng up by 1.1% the hang high up by a half percent. in europe also seeing a bit of a mixed picture. the ftse is higher, up by 0.3 points in france, the cac is under pressure in germany, the stocks are weaker crude oil prices up yesterday for the sixth session in a row this morning up once again up 21 cents to 44.96 >> blue apron pricing an ipo last night, $10 a share. that's the low end of the reduced range the company announced yesterday, well below the estimates of $15 to
