(steve) police are reminding people about the dangers of hot cars .. after rescuing a dog locked in a car. napa officers found the dog in a car at the south napa marketplace around noon yesterday, the five year old dog was left inside while the owner was shopping. police say the temperature inside the car reached 136 degrees! the dog was taken to a vet and animal control is investigating. the fire is burning along i-80 west near sutter's landing.r being towed by an rv caught fire on the shoulder of the road... and that fire spread to the grass on the hills. westbound 80 is closed as firefighter work to contain the blaze. as you can imagine, the evening commute is a mess. (steve) further to the south another fire is raging right now in the san bernardino national forest northeast of big bear lake. the "holcomb fire" has burned about 200 acres so far. no homes are threatened... but some camp grounds have been evacuated. more than a dozen calfire airplanes are being used to fight the blaze. (pam) we are following breaking news out of the north bay... where santa rosa police are investigating a double- murder suicide... it all started at a home on slater street, near college avenue around 10- this morning... police recieved calls about a dispute between a husband and wife - they were arguing over a child custody violation. when officers arrived at the home - they found the two children, a 6-year-old girl ... and an 18- month-old b

the sutter county sheriff's office released her cause of death yesterday afternoon. but the manner in which she drowned is not yet known. yeoman first went missing on the way home in late march. her car was found days later near the feather river. and her body was found in may not far from where her car was found. ( james @ landing ) another big story we're following this morning... a department store in antioch was evacuated after a haz mat team from the fire department was brought in because several people complained of shortness of breath. the j.c. penny store on slatten ranch road was evacuated around six o clock yesterday to ensure the safety of workers and shoppers inside. fire officials quickly responded and got everyone out while police made sure nobody came into the area. two people were transported to the hospital and several others were treated at the scene.<>

gary says he used to play a joke with guests on air, telling them they forgot we used to hear suttering they would switch the cups with their teeth in them because they all have dentures. hockey guys are all really though... and some of the nicest guys you will ever encounter. but i think they should at least put their teeth in if they are going to an awards show.
