we were told the uc berkeley police department delivered the case to them this morning, that they are reviewing it, that the woman accused of drugging a toddler at methamphetamine at people's park in berkeley is scheduled to appear in court here at 2:00 this afternoon, though a bailiff for that courtroom, specific courtroom, tells us it's quite possible that her appearance could be continued until tomorrow. right now the woman remains in custody accused of attempted murder. she is a 36-year-old woman who apparently lives in people's park in berkeley, a park that is home to a number of people who are homeless. this past monday a 2-year-old boy was there at the park with his nanny. a witness tells that is he saw thomas force the child to take that illicit drug. >> the baby and the nanny were playing on the playground, and the lady walked up to the baby and stuck her finger in the mouth and gave the baby some methamphetamine. >> reporter: the nanny frantically searched the boy's mouth, saw that it was empty but still called uc berkeley police who arrested thomas and took her to a psych f
