we're live at the nasdaq marketsite in times square i'm andrew ross sorkin along with becky quick and joenen. take a quick look at the futures this morning, after weekend away dow looks like it would open up higher about 33 points higher. s&p 500 would open up about two points higher and the nasdaq would open 17 points higher. here's the headlines right now we're watching shares of asset manager blackrock. it came in below estimates with quarterly profit of 5.24 dollars per share but ceo larry fink says cash is starting to return from the seedlines widely watched earnings report is set for after the close today when netflix comes out with its quarterly numbers. the company expects to report profit of 16 cents per share on revenues of nearly $2.8 billion. investors also going to be carefully watching subscriber growth numbers just one economic report on today's calendar, with the new york fed out with its latest empire state manufacturing index. at 8:30 we'll bring you those numbers. later in the week a number of key economic reports including housing starts, we get jobless claims, the fed

ross was one of the outperformers for years. it faltered recently in terms of the stock and they're saying buy the dip. >> we are, meanwhile, watching some comments from randall stevenson to our own joehere was an article on bloomberg about the possibility of him moving to an executive chairmanship stephenson says the article was full of speculation and he will not be changing his title. >> that's kind of interesting. the bloomberg story you referenced is fairly detailed in terms of outlining what will occur after the close of the transaction to acquire time warner namely saying stevenson will become executive chairman. but still overseeing the company and then stankey and donovan will be moving up. stankey will be running the content parts. time warner being the key one there while donovan will be running directv and the wireless business what i had heard, and again this is bloomberg reporting and now we've got joe kernin telling us and stephenson says my title is not going to change. what i heard is largely accurate reporting from bloomberg perhaps they didn't get the titles right but maybe there still will be a reorg with those people running those divisions maybe that won't neces
