seeing the huge wall of water, wave heights are approaching 20 feet in the central portions of the gulf of mexico. we have this wall of water, what we call the storm surge anywhere from five to ten feet about what is known as the high tide levels. all the water will pour into the central portions of the gufer coast states -- gulf coast states. the buoy i'm zoomed into is the gulf shores of mississippi. we're seeing waves 6 feet and gusts up to 22 miles per hour. the bulls eye in the middle of screen is moving toward the coast in the next 12 to 24 hours. maximum sustained winds 25 miles per hour. the wind field with the storm is small. it's not as big as harvey or jose or hurricane irma it will come in west of mobile. hurricane warnings in effect through gulfport and pensacola, florida where some of the worst conditions from the hurricane are going to start being felt in the next 12 hours. heavy rain a storm surge of 5 to 10 feet above normal. winds up to 85 miles per hour. i'll be back along in just a few minutes, we'll focus on what the storm means for our weather in the delaware and lehigh vall
