bay this monday morning. sheriff's deputies are investigating a deadly stabbing near the san jose country club. y in the bay's" kris sanchez live this morning. anything new? >> reporter: well, laura, i can tell you the deputies are still here on the scene. they have part of the roadblocked off and the home where the homicide happened is farther away from the crime scene tape. the first question we asked is whether or not there is a threat to the public and the sheriff's department spokesman says there is no public threat because the suspect was taken into custody almost immediately. it appeared the suspect and the victim did know each other. they were roommates. deputies arrived at the home before midnight. the home is on the 5400 block of fairway drive. that's where they found the victim, a 21-year-old his tannic man, stabbed. he later died inside that has home. the suspect was taken into custody, at that same home here on the scene. the suspect told us, he did not reveal whether or not that suspect gave them a motive for this act of violence. we will keep pressing the sheriff's department for

bay... a gym owner is behind bars this morning accused of lewd acts with a child. benjamin borsellino owns the martinez athletic club gym in martinez. he is charged with 4 counts of lewd acts with a child under 14 years old. borsellino co-owns the gym with his wife. he was booked into the contra costa county jail on 400- thousand dollars bail. the gym could remain closed indefinitely. ( darya ) in the south bay... 11 kids have been arrested after a violent crime spree. all of them are between 11 and 17 years old. and police say the group could be responsible for more than a dozen crimes. the first incident happened last friday in san jose. a woman was carjacked and beaten. 4 of the kids were arrested for that crime including 3 girls ages 13 to 14. then on saturday morning... another driver was carjacked at gunpoint. 6 boys and girls between the ages of 13 and 15 were arrested for that crime. and a 17-year-old was arrested for stealing a car. police are looking to see if other crimes over the weekend can be linked to the groups.
