lake effects day this afternoon, chicago earlier saw several inches of snow around parts of the lake, michigan parts of the upper midwest seeing as well. cleveland seeing snow showers right now buffalo did earlier and you can see some snow showers just south of pittsburgh. there's certainly enough cold to generate snow showers in washington. it was a clear day in washington, nothing but sunshine and we'll hold off a little bit until we see the first flakes, here's the setup. the coldest so far at least this season will be tomorrow morning when it comes to our temperatures, we'll start well below freezing and high temperatures will only get to the low 40's. that's normal high temperature for, say, mid january, not mid november. the coldest we've seen tomorrow, high pressure will move slightly warmup sunday, it's still cloudy, it will still be cold but we'll at least get into the low 50's by the afternoon. your weekend forecast is chilly to begin your veterans day, freeze widespread across the area, we get 44 but less wind won't be nearly as gusty as today. more clouds, if you'll be heading out
