arrived on the scene at newtown road at abraham road.ica, the scene was just cleared here on newtown road and abrams lane but police are continuing their investigation into what may have started as a shoplifting incident. here's what we know right now. police say at about 3:30 this afternoon an officer had stopped a gold sedan occupied by three women for a motor vehicle violation. as the officer was walking towards the car on conestoga road the driver took off at a high rate of speed. there was no police chase. but a few minutes later they got a report that the car had crashed into another vehicle and flipped over on newtown road near abrams lane. when they arrived two women were still in the car, a third had fled on foot but they caught up with her and took her into custody. two of the women suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital to be checked out. as you may have seen from chopper6 there was a lot of merchandise scattered on the road, items that fell out of trash bags like sheets still in packaging. police are investiga
