bob barnard is live this morning. he's on the roads. bob, where are you now?know where you were headed. where were you going right now? >> reporter: we're still headed toward the eastern shore and we are approaching the toll plaza here at the chesapeake bay bridge. we -- since we've been on in the last half hour have learned of the new restriction. no t empty loads are now allowed to cross the bay bridge and as you can see here its pretty wide opened. snow is still falling. the road surface here is covered with snow. there is a 40 miles per hour restriction as you cross the bridge both toward the eastern shore and then coming back from the eastern shore toward the d.c. area. but the only restriction right now, because of winds, and it has gotten windier is the restriction on trucks with nothing their trailer. other than that it's a 40 miles an hour speed limit restriction. basically mdot is saying if the conditions get worse, if there are winds over 40 miles an hour sustained, that there is the potential for further restrictions and that if the winds are 55 or
