david fitzpatrick, an operator at the university park in philadelphia. welcome to you both. jay, david, i'm going to start with you. how many federal employees are going to be placed on furlough starting monday morning, and which agencies do you see suffering the most here? >> approximately 1 million federal employees would be placed on furlough monday morning, and the agencies that you would see first are department of defense, hud, parks, national monuments, social security, the list would continue to work down. va medical centers would continue to be open, as well as border patrol, tsa, but you have to remember those that are required to go to work still will not get paid on payday. >> david fitzpatrick, i appreciate you joining me this afternoon. you are a federal employee. you have a mortgage, as many of us do, car loan, bills to pay as all of us do. what is the impact to your life right now with the shutdown? >> well, i mean, i'd rather be at work at this time right now, and hopefully that this doesn't go on long enough where i'm not going to receive a pay, so, you know
