[applause] >> is congressman goodlatte here? he is coming in. it is an honor for me to be here and to introduce congressman goodlatte. as many of you know, he is retiring this year after a long run success there of virginia. he worked tirelessly on encryption policy comer surveillance policy. we've dialogued over the years on these issues. but what was critical and it's been absolutely critical to the success of the internet education foundation, which runs because of bob goodlatte and tim morgan and they both deserve a hand just for that. [applause] for my last word before i turn it over to bob is back when we started this come in the big issue for the internet with spam no one, and we were a footnote, but going through free speech, what we learned as they were going -- there were going to be multiple policy issues that confronted it. but

civility at work and in life, former white house social director, lee berman, who worked under president george w. bush and jeremyame friends and decided to do this book? >> yes. all the former social secretaries, go back to the lyndon johnson era are friends. we get together regularly. we make eight practice to help our successors. we don't care about party. we want the white house to be a wonderful place for guests to come to. ainsley: i can't imagine how difficult the job hosting diplomats and hosting the grandest parties. laura bush's's she talks about extensive work and know personalities and culture of people you're hosting. tell me about president bush that stand out. there is funny story about the fraternity group that came. >> president bush is very funny person. i think people forget because of the times we were boeing through when he was president, was a very serious time but he always had great sense of lefty. we had a event a lot of young men members about the same fraternity president bush was in when he was in college. he turned to the audience, said i understand there are a lot of my fraternity br
