the senate cleared a pathway for short-terp spending through february 8th. investors seem to be heartened from that. hiles now off the record lows. the s&p 500 energy index is the best second tar for the s&p 500, helped out by a lot of the drillers. real string there for the driller after they reported a strong fourth quarter. they beat earnings and revenues. earnings by more than 13%. margins quadrupling to about 15%. lots of strength there. the company is also talking about the idea that there is a worldwide recovery under way for the oil market and that the u.s. shale market has much to do with this. helping out some of the other drillers as well. let's take a look at the 10-year yield along with some of the rate sensitive sectors. if we look at the 10-year yield, we are going to see earlier it was down about two basis points. at this point -- i am hearing that we don't have that, but the rate sensitive sectors rallying on the day in sympathy with yields. on the year, down, interesting point to make. then finally if we do look at the imap in the s&p 500,
