some of the rain falling overnight. the heaviest rains are yellows, oranges and reds. there's a good bit of it to the southwest starting to pump our direction. now we're starting to see small pockets in montgomery county and into philadelphia as well. these little pockets are going to start expanding as the area over d.c. and baltimore moves our direction. look at parts of newcastle county, north star, pensville, to middletown. scattered areas of rain moving through. the problem is, when training, regeneration of heavy pockets over and over the same area, that's when you get the flooding concerns. this is something we'll be watching during the morning hours. no flood warnings in place, which indicates it's actually occurring. i wouldn't be surprised if there were ponding along roadways. we jump over the delaware and parts of cumberland county where still heavy rain is falling. this is an area where 1 to 2 inches fell overnight. this is an area totally saturated and more heavy rains continuing to fall. look how much i've got to pull this out to show you the length of the

the rain moving through on the radar and satellite view. it shows the rain is going all the way down to the southwest of us. the good news is, the break is on the horizon. later today and especially by tomorrow, we'll finally dry out across the region. right now, though, looking at the radar network in our region, we have these scattered areas, little pockets of heavier rain. that's the yellow an orange that you see. and more of a light to steady rain to the south. as well as to the north. not as much of the heavy rain falling. we have launched storm ranger 10 in montgomery county. what we're looking at is the rain is not -- in this area. if you're in limerick, feen igsvillig ixville, norristown, parts of the rain have dropped into philadelphia county. that's where we just saw on the wider network of radar views. current temperatures across the region, in the 40s. at 545 in philly. 44 in allentown and 48 in atlantic city. these 40s, by this afternoon, once the rain calms down, into the 50s. then we stay mild day after day after day. we'll l

all the rain starts to spread across the region. there be pockets of heavy rain? absolutely. isolated thunderstorms? yes, and the chance continues into sunday. there's still scattered showers around 6:00 p.m. there may be a brief period where the rain does break. look at the finumbers. near 50 degrees. that's 6:00 this evening. very mild overnight. and the rain just picks right back up starting around midnight. this model has steady rain. heavier rain in the earliest a.m. hours. it lasts into sunday morning. this is at 8:00 a.m. along the i-95 corridor. i've rain coming down. temperatures that are near 50 degrees. so heavy rain, watch how long it lasts around the same area. that's through 2 p.m. in the afternoon. this is why a flood watch is now in place across our entire viewing area with the exception of suffolks county, delaware. you get enough heavy rain over a small period of time, and you may have some street flooding or creeks that start to swell. temperatures near 60 degrees on your sunday. the rain starts to move out about 6:00 p.m. we're left with just a good bit of

lehigh valley and the poconos. moderate rainart falling if it hasn't yet begun but your rainfall totals are going to be lighter north and west of the city. we still have one flood warning in effect for kent county until 1:00 this afternoon. it also includes places like smyrna where 3 inches of rain has fallen and we are seeing problems in some of the smaller creeks and streams are starting to flood as well. it's minor but it could be dangerous if you're not careful. visibility wise the dense fog advisory has been dropped. we are seeing the visibility severely impacted by all this rain. 63 degrees is today's forecasted high. the normal is 43. we started out at 50. that's warmer than the normal high for this time of the year. our normal low should be around 27 degrees and we have this warm front slicing new jersey right in half. this should continue to push to the northwest over the next several hours. behind it temperatures are very, very mild. right around 40 degrees north and west. a tremendous difference in temperature here wi

this model gives a break in the rain. don't be fooled. that's not the end of the rain.at's just a pause. more rain around midnight. temperatures still very mild overnight. we're not going to cool down throughout the overnight into your sunday morning. and as we go overnight, you saw it was midnight through 8:00 a.m., a lot of oranges and yellows and reds. that's because this is some of the heaviest rain. the band of heavy rain about the time you're waking up on sunday morning. this is may lead to localized flooding. this is why the flood watch is in place across the region. we're not talking major flooding but in low lying areas. swelling of creeks is possible when you have this heavy of rain passing through for hours at a time. 2:00 now a steadily rain. not as much heavy rain. the temperatures are nearly 60 degrees on sunday. warmer than is typical. that rain start move out overnight. could see just a breeze, extra shower in the overnight hours rolling through. for the most part, we'll start to dry out into monday morning. this is one model projection. around 2 to 3 in

the heavy rain periods start to fall apart into the afternoon. at 2:00 p.m. we see steady rain moving through and more isolated pockets of heavier rain moving by. as we get to 6:00 at night sunday, now most everything has moved out. we're mild. some spots may be at 60 degrees and a round of rain that moves through in the overnight hours. from basically our lunchtime through all of sunday we're talking rainy conditions. as a result, look at these rain totals. this is just one computer model's projection. i think models are consistent in giving around 2 to 3 inches near the i-95 corridor. an inch and a half against the jersey shore. a lot of rain. because it's spread out, the flood threat isn't quite as high. the pockets of heavier rain roll through. particularly in the low lying roads, things like that. there's a look at the temperatures for today. 50 in philadelphia. for tomorrow 60 in philadelphia. many locations are going to go from low to upper 50s as we go through the next few days. we'll talk about the ten day in ten in the next half hour. >> thank you. t
