[applause] the most beautiful building in washington, d.c.. and it's a beautiful day for us and i'm so happy and excited to be here. i was watching that little film seeing how these things are happening through the years. i am just so proud and honored to be here today. >> we are honored that you are here. i would like to ask you a few questions. i'm interested, and i know a lot of our guests are interested in just how long did this get started what inspired you to create this program? >> everybody has their story enabled you may or may not know. my dad was a very hard-working man and grew up in a family of 14 to 15 kids and daddy couldn't read or write but he was the smartest person that i've known her so i wanted to do something special for him as the years went by. it was just one of those things, so i had the idea to do something special for him. in the bible that talks about honor your father and mother and i don't think it means just to obey them. i wanted him to feel like he was a part of something special, so we started the imagination
