i actually was absolutely sure i will die. i was even more sure because in my life, it already happened. my first husband died of melanoma in his brain. so i had already this experience, and it was pretty terrifying. so we go to boston instead of montana, and we check out into the hospital and i have surgery, and then what? we have to enroll in something very new and hopefully something that will have a potential, at least to save my life, it and was immunotherapy. when i was enrolled in immuno therapy, ann around me thought, that the chances are grim because i was in a clinical trial for tumors in the brain. immuno therapy was used if the -- at the time it was fda approved for the tumors in the body but not in the brain. they didn't know it would help me or i would die sooner without it. i there was nothing else to do so i said, okay, i'm going in. if i die i will at least die fighting. that was my thinking. so we prepared for rough times and it was rollercoaster ride through this therapy. it is -- they say better than chemoth

henry: i will make one point that i think most people in this room understand. look at the century, i believe more than anything else, how the u.s. figures about to deal with the rising china, and how china and the u.s. feel with each other, is going to be the factor that more than anything else shapes the geopolitical landscape we have in the 21st century. when we deal with china, we after member, we are not dealing with the same china we dealt with even four or five years ago. thate dealing with a china is much more assertive. we are dealing with a china that is, in many ways, a strategic competitor. it's an economic competitor. we don't have to shy away from admitting that are saying that. it's a china that has got the capacity and the reach to advance its own interest in long-standing spheres of united states influence. whichs the perspective of we need to look at china. i think the most important thing that we need to do is to not be afraid of competition. to recognize that despite the competition, china, the u.s., have many shared interest. interests -- in

another question, i am just about done with my lesson and i will let you go. i hope this is not too basic or in -- a great. the illicit market place -- why can't they just be shut down? >> in july 2017, that was a very good operation done by the department of justice. following up on that, the department of justice, and the attorney general, announced the joint criminal opioid darknet enforcement team. they will bring together a task force of into -- individuals to work on the darknet. to do just that. to shut down these darknet marketplaces. however, it is a little more complex than that, just because they stand up and close down on their own very quickly. it can be regenerated quickly. in many cases, they are up for 75 days, and they shut themselves down, in order to not be tracked. and they flip over and open up another darknet spot. so, they can be shut down. i think it is necessary, but not sufficient. just because of the ability to be able to generate and regenerate these websites. but, it is a focus of effort for the administration and department of just
