we watched some movies at camp david that have jane fonda in them which is not the person you would think would be first on ronald reagan's list of actors or actresses to watch and in fact looking at one of the pres.'s favorite military aids i was reminded of the research in this book and spoke with them that the idea of going to a movie that starred jane fonda was a bit uncomfortable for some of the service people in the room because of her history with the vietnam war but reagan did not look at movies on the basis of punishing or rewarding a friend, entertaining, what was seen in theaters at the time. and never released the names of the movies they saw contemporaneously lest there be a perceived endorsement, nor a next in patent situation, what is going to happen in vietnam, we never came back and said what they have seen, the press stopped asking after a wild but so many people in the motion picture business, it was sometimes hard to avoid people they knew or see them intentionally. >> who between your self in your 20s as a pres. and his 70s would fall asleep in the movies more often?
