jillian: mudslide shutting down this highway, storms hitting the ohio valley and northeast overnightheast in the bull's-eye, several cars swept underwater in this parking lot. rob: in the gulf of mexico a tropical system could develop in the next few days. jillian: what do we need to know? >> we are still a ways off, not until june 1st we see the start of hurricane season but we are talking about tropical weather. a broad area of low pressure off the coast of belize. the next couple days there's a 50% chance of this turning into a tropical system. that does not mean hurricane, likely won't become a hurricane. if it gets to tropical levels it will turn into a soggy next couple days for the state of florida. tropical models, when you talk about a system this far off still trying to come together a lot of indecision where it could go but we are looking at portions of the gulf of mexico perhaps turning off but either way florida would be impacted by the system as it moves farther north. it is going to be more than anything a heavy rainmaker, that is something we are watching as we look a
