joining us, tom fenton, judicial watch president.t with i guess preparing the battleground as some would say, for obama as a shadow president. create a shadow government, and create a international alliance to work against a sitting president. just how -- is that not illegal? >> well, you know according to the obama gang, who targeted general flynn with a logan act potential violation, i don't know why it wouldn't apply to president obama. undermining president of united states by working with foreign government leaders is very basis of logan act. but it just shows you how hypocritical president obama has been. when you have his minions going out there and ambushing general flynn, based on absurd notion that his contact with the russians and presidential transition may have violated logan act. and at the same time, his people know he is working out there with foreign leaders to undermine the president. this is par for the course for obama. he used stay agency of federal government to target president trump, no surprise he would take

tom fenton is president of the conservative watchdog group judicial watch. what do you make of this latest wrinkle? >> well, further evidence of fbi corruption under james comey's tenure as fbi director. he hired a buddy to do this work, he was out there talking about fbi matters without disclosing it, then comey comes in and testifies, and leaves out a material fact, a fact that people would have wanted to know when it came to evaluating his decision about leaking this information through mr. richmond. you know, if there's going to be credible leak investigation, it has to be more than just about this leak of the memo through richmond to the "new york times," which was inappropriate and led to the mueller investigation calling that whole thing into account. because you can bet that given richmond's role at the fbi, and mueller's close relationship, this wasn't the first time likes like this occurred. i think that's the open question. >> melissa: okay. >> why did he decide to use richmond at this point. did it just come up with the idea out of the blue? i do

joining me right now, judicial watch president tom fenton. y goodness, it just keeps getting stranger and stranger and stranger. but give us your reaction to these latest news developments here. what is your gut feeling on all this? >> well, the first thing -- the last thing first. you know, we just uncovered these documents. we started asking for the collusion documents between mueller and comey because there were reports they were working together on that testimony. you remember that testimony last year caused a lot of consternation here in washington. comey attacked the president, talked about these memos that weren't his, they were fbi records. and, you know, you've got to wonder why it is the fbi and mueller allowed comey to come out this and attack the president -- out there and attack the president on those issues. and why would they, for heaven sake, collude with him on getting that information out there? in a way that wasn't designed to advance public interest, but to advance a political interest and a prosecutorial interest in gettin
