it sparked just before 2:00 near the woodside road offramp... firefighters have a handle on the situation.. but the chp says the woodside road southbound 101 onramp will remain closed for the next hour. (grant) the man accused of killing a woman and two kids in fremont will spend another night in jail before appearing in court. today, 21-year-old dang nguyen hai tran was scheduled to be arraigned at the east county hall of justice in dublin. his family showed up to court -- but tran did not. that's because the alameda county district attorney's office says it has not yet filed charges against tran. the da's office says it is still waiting on a full report from the california highway patrol. it's possible the charges may come down tomorrow. investigators believe tran was under the influence of marijuana tuesday night... when he allegedly caused a five-car crash on northbound 880. that crash resulted in the death of the mother and children from manteca. let's go to the maps and i will show you where a crash has happened and this is in the woodside area northbound 280 near edgewood drive. and you see the crash there on your maps. although i just looked at the chp log and they now have all of the northbound lanes reopened. really just minutes ago. but as you can see, there is a heavy backup, backed up on northbound 280 approaching edgewood in the woodside area because of a passenger bus, a commuter bus that was stalled and another car slammed into the back of that bus. and there was someone injured in that crash. we will take you to the bay bridge toll plaza where we are starting to see the backup build well through the maze this morning. and once you get past the pay gates, we have pretty heavy traffic on the incline section of the bay bridge. it is slow all the way over to treasure island. frees up a bit on the western span of the bridge heading into san francisco. here is a live look at 880 in oakland. the good news in oakland, traffic has been nice throughout the morning on both 880 and 580 as well. things moving along nicely in b
