programs that did nothing but drive up spending with little to show for it, certainly not helping the committ committee. according to fiscal tofs we are in national debt. it's trillion dollars and rising. if we don't make serious changes, we will add 12.4 trillion in debt over the next ten years alone. much of this is due to auto pilot programs, automatic spending such as social security and medicare that will cost the country $4.5 trillion 2028, double than today. it doesn't mean worthwhile programs and don't help programs, they do. and this side of the diaz wants to preserve and strengthen those programs so that they are around for people who truly, truly need them. now our members and senators on the other side have taken a different approach than we have. while our budget saves $5.4 trillion in mandatory programs, the liberal elites have decided to continue elevating their failed ideas. the ideas that got us into this fiscal mess to begin with. they attack us for work go to save medicare and social security. programs that by any reasonable estimation are projected to go insolvent by 2026
