(jr stone) a scary night for three people in pacifica. they were stranded on the side of a cliff for more than 13 hours.good evening -- i'm jr stone.(justine) and i'm justine waldman.those three people were forced to stay overnight because firefighters could not get to them. kron4's michelle kingston has the details. three people hiking the cliffs in pacifca got stuck ... stranded about 700 feet down shelter cove bluff -- located off of kent road.north county fire authority says the stranded hikers -- a 23 year old and two 13 year olds -- called them around 9:30 friday night.but because of where they were located, the darkness and the weather-- firefighters weren't able to get to them.they stayed in touch throughout the night and were rescued safely on saturday morning by a california highway patrol helicopter.stuck for more than 13 hours, the three reunited with family and medical personnel -- able to go home with no injuries reported. (justine) fast wind in the east bay made matters worse for fire fighters battling at least five blazes.
