>>d derek w joins us live from the r-street corridor in northwest d.c. where some of these crimes happened. what do we know about all of this? >> reporter: we noticed that happened in close proximity to each other. some foot traffic now, certainly foot traic and other establishments you hav listen 14th, 15th and 16th streets in this general area. there were three offenses that happdned day, about 10:35 when a woman was walking in the area and she was approach fwed m behind and assaulted. police are describing thesesa ts as misdemeanor sexual abuse, and lewd, indecent obscene acts. a short time later, a similar person meeting a similar description expose himself to woman in the immediate area, and then 45 minutes or so another incident in the 1500 block of p street another man fitting the same description assaulted a woman and ran off. with 25 to 35 years ol an athletic build, and he was weared a short sleeved hooded shirt, dark shorts and running shs. the police have not definitively imnked these three, but the descriptions arear enough that they are exp
