that is a big portion of the state legislature. so at some point he racked up by the 1930s. but then the phrase even more money but eventually in the light -- the late fort wong -- the late 30s he was involved in the insurance kickback scheme. actually the scheme it's not clear if he broke the law with the scheme itself. i'm not a lawyer so i cannot explain that but it was because he didn't report the income to the irs for income tax on his tax returns. just like out the poem it was the irs that finally caught up with tom pendergast and was indicted 1939. he went to jail at leavenworth the federal penitentiary and pendergast was nothing and he died of natural causes. truman came to his funeral he just became vice president and came to his funeral during wartime on a military plane and then this controversy. and then week later he dies and truman is president of the united states. so truman so what we are trying to do is complicate that history and i've done that a little bit with this interview but we are building a website that will include currently we have 9500 scams with

are the people that are going to city council meetings, who are the citizens that actively are regularly talking about state legislature. because there is no magical formula, maybe for you, but as i met with other states, state-based leaders of these things, people that truly care about the mission and communicating that vision and there are people who want to help you build this infrastructure. this type of organization because it is truly necessary. it fills a void and helps give people cut through the marketing that you hear on the campaign trail and actually gives them measurable things to judge actions instead of listening to words. if we are truly going to, we heard this time and again, the conservative movement doesn't have a pipeline of recruitment to promote good candidates to office. apparently the goal is to washington, d.c., which don't quite understand but we don't have that pipeline. this organization helps qualify people that way. find out who is out there. plug-in with them. build a cadre of people you can rely on and look for the resources and put together -- i have an mba. i think in frameworks a lot.

thing needs to be exposed, how they do it, how little work they do, how it's incestuous and the state legislatures need to get involved in the college governments and universities. we're paying for, it not like the independent private institutions, are they? >> the thing is leftist professors have the freedom until they get tenure to say what they want, indoctrinate students in classrooms. a limited number of libertarian or conservative professors have to stay quiet until they get tenured protection. i had one professor in college who was a libertarian, and he basically had to keep it a secret because he wasn't tenured yet. and said once i get more tenured i can be more open about things i believe, for now i can't be. tenure is a huge problem. the other big question i have for leftists on college campuses constantly preaching about diversity and yet not interested in a diversity of ideas in the classroom. the majority of professors just like the majority of journalists in this country are leftists and don't have any concern over the lack of diversity when it comes to differences in ideas. >> they
