and clint van zandt is still with me. clint, in terms of, and again, we don't want to get too far ahead of the investigation obviously, and we learn some more at 2:30, but based on what we have been able to confirm, and based on these sticker rs that are reportedly on this white van, what do you make of the kind of of suspect that we are dealing with here? >> again, we are always looking for the motivation, and of course, we don't need motivation to charge someone with a crime, but we are always interested in it. you know the old phrase, if it looks like a duck and walks like a duck, and from the stickers that are on the side of this, it appears that the -- >> clint, sorry, but i am sorry we have a name here. and tom winter, what can you tell us? >> craig, our understanding is that a person named see cyock jr. who lives in new york area and previously known to law enforcement. he had some run-ins with the law enforcement in the past, and he has been arrested in connection with this bomb probe. he is believed to be 56 year

clint van zandt, you essentially, this feels like it fits exactly the profile you thought. a little bit older, loaner, white male, that sort of thing. he sort of ended up fitting the profile you were hinting at? >> we were talking. we suggested no more than 24 to 48 hours after we last talked that he would be in custody. so i think the authorities have been able to carry that off for us. this guy, he is going to have a psychiatrist who is going to work with him and talk with him. i think one of his relatives has hit the nail on the head. he describes this guy as a loose cannon, a lost soul who lived in his vehicle, who took showers at the local gym. he shot himself up with steroids. he involved himself with male strip dancers. you know, when you look at the mentality of this guy, and again we're trying to understand if there was anybody else involved, it's hard to imagine anybody else would want to associate themselves with this guy. and so i think he could be fully capable of doing everything that he's charged with. realize that just this year i looked back on the internet

clint van zandt, tom winter and ben kol licollins. clint, if you're interview now, what are you asking? >> one of the things we have going for us is because there's explosive devices that jim kavanaugh and others were doing this interview, we don't have to advise him of his rights. there's a public safety aspect where we can interview about anymore bombs in mail, who was working with you, where was your bomb making site. there's a number of things we need to urgently do now that the law allows us to do. we do what's urgent. we get a search warrant. we search his van, house, internet communications, his telephone. try to find out what other connections he has. again, this is still a race because we have to believe if there are 13 devices out there, the two columbine shooters built more than 100 pipe bombs. there could be some out in the mail, inside his house or van. that has to continue as urgent as possible until we get those answers. then the wheels of justice will start to grinds as far as prosecuting this person. >> if this is sti

i want to -- i think you have clint van zandt there and jim kavanaugh. i want to go to clint. based on the information we have so far, these officials here were not prepared to say whether this is an individual, a group or different people. doesn't seem like different organizations because of the tight window in which these things were all delivered. what do we think about who might be behind this based on the early information we have now, clint? >> well, you know, one of the things we do, we look at past individuals like this. of course, we just spoke about the unabomber, ted kaczynski. we could talk about mark anthony, the austin, texas, bomber this last marchment and we know he was sending explosive devices through the mails and, of course, one of the ways he was identified is notwithstanding. the surveillance cameras in the various locations where he dispose itted these items. we have so many means for the person who putt them in the mail, the individual to drop this in george soros' mailbox, the surveillance cameras there. i would be amazed if we didn't have sufficient b

and clint van zandt is a former fbi agent and profiler. you were so helpful yesterday in understanding this. we brought you back today for more of your insight, more of your help and helping viewers understand this. pete, let me start with the investigation itself. we heard that press conference. do they really have no idea who it is or there's a group of people that they suspect but they are not ready to talk about it publicly? >> i think it's more the former than the latter. they don't have a suspect at this point, but there are some helpful signs. there's some indication base on analysis of the packages that at least some of them were postm k postmarked. you're right about the soft packaging and the odd size of the packages with the bombs stuffed into the envelopes so they didn't go through automatic canceling machines. so some of them that went to cnn were not cancelled or otherwise stamped. but some were, according to people who have seen images of all the bombs and that has in part led them to the possibility that at least some of th
