it happened early saturday around 2 in the morning, on the 6-hundred block of cumberland street in pittsburgound a 38-year-old man with gunshot wounds. he was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died. his name has not been released. investigators believe the victim and his attacker may have known each other. it happened saturday morning on cumberland street.ficers arrived on scene, they found 38-year-old jjuan sanders suffering from a gunshot wound. he was taken to the hospital where he later died. police believe sanders and the gunman knew each other-- but so far no arrests have been made. there are several businesses in the area, and officers are now reviewing surveillance video (jr) in the south bay... eleven people are safe but displaced after a fire rips through a home in san jose. the fire was reported just before eight-thirty this morning and crews had it under control in about a half an hour. firefighters say the flames started in the attic and was accidental in nature. the red cross is helping to house the eleven people who were displaced. (jr) funding has been approved and a site selected for a new l-g-b-t-q focused homeless shelter in san jose. planning started on the project after a homeless youth told supervisors they felt safer on the streets than in the already existing shelters.
