as for usual in the night and early morning hours, we could still see the 977-foot spire of the sutro cam and towers, sticking out of the clouds, but they are back, the clouds. as a result things are looking a little bit cooler along the shoreline. concord right now has 80 degrees. oakland at 69 and san francisco a chill 59 degrees. that is very summer like out there with that temperature spread between the coast and inland. overnight tonight, we will be down to on ula san franci do to 52. in sunrise tomorrow morning, a little bit after 7:00, 7:21, staying darker, longer in the morning. staying around as well as that high pressure ridge that right now is a beautiful mendocino up in the north coast and as long as they have the high that stays in place, there won't be any dramatic changes in the weather. this may nudge a little bit into the north and east and again that puts it into a classic position to give us that much of an offshore flow. and that is all we to keep temperatures fairly warminland. but then changes are on the way. it'll spill into the bay tonight. morning clouds and f

tonight, still in the mid 60s, cool in san francisco, and speaking of cool, look at this shot here in sutro tower. you see the fog there rolling over the coastal hill tops in a blanket of high clouds above, a mixed layer of clouds now moving into the bay area, and we will see mostly cloudy skies setting up for tomorrow, so a little bit of change, little less sunshine for sunday. the satellite radar view shows you underneath those clouds. no rain, but offshore to the north, this is where the rain is. in fact, a pretty impressive looking system here, bringing some heavier rain to the pacific northwest, but for us, well, we're just on the outer fringe. crescent city will pick up an inch of rain overnight into tomorrow morning but notice as we drop south, not much around the bay area. overnight tonight, if you're in the north bay, might see a sprinkle or two. you can see how those rain showers really just kind of fizzle out as they head south but notice everybody has a lot more cloud cover to start off tomorrmo combination of low clouds and high clouds even through 3:00 in the afternoon. still
