nbc bay area's christie smith joins us in the city with more details. how's that man doing, first of all? >> reporter: that motorcycle rider is banged up and sore, but he was able to come out here today and retrieve his motorcycle. san francisco police are still investigating the circumstances of how this all unfolded. but they say the motorcycle rider was headed this way. he was hit, and a woman was arrested. the dash cam video was taken around 8:00 at 20th and valencia. a motorcycle rider headed west when this happened. >> the witness there stated she saw a woman standing around three or four feet into the crosswalk, holding bags. and then she saw a motorist riding hit motorcycle down the street. >> reporter: and then she struck the man in the chest causing him to lose control. >> the meninute i saw the polic outside my window, i went out to see what's going on. >> reporter: he runs the and din was not seriously injured. police say he told them the light was yellow when the woman stepped toward him. >> apparently she thought the motorcyclist was too c
