while short bursts of heavy rain blew thru...city crews tried to keep up with the cleanup. sweeping up leaves and trash from the gutters....to try and prevent things like this....a clogged storm drain backing up.it's been real wet today, the leaves are harder to sweep up there's a lot more trashat the corner of 23rd and kansas in potrero hill.....one city worker tried her best to clear the storm drain....but it proved too tough for her rake....causing it to brake. snap...well that's that..... and ended up calling for a vacumn truck to finish the job. workers at the harding park golf course came upon this damage when they showed up at 5am.some of the huge steel poles that hold up the netting around the driving range were bent....likely under the pressure of high winds blowing over the course which brought half the netting crashing down. a man working for the golf netting company charged with replacing them says he's never seen anything like this.they're older polls they've been in the ground for a while they're just weaker and just folded under the pressuremission street bet
