levine. overall impressions of william barr today? how did he do? >> he did very, very well.e has been the attorney general before. he knows his way around the building and knows what to do. he delivered. a lot of the questions were about the special counsel. he said he would not carry out any order to fire special counsel or without cause. >> as much as you can be satisfied at this point, i think that william barr gave a strong endorsement of mueller. they go back to the justice department when they were both there before. i think that he made it pretty clear that absent something that he could not imagine happening, he would allow the mueller investigation to go. if there was inappropriate demand to stop it, he said he would resign. >> the men are friends. he made that clear. one of the things that kept coming up was a memo that he wrote. senator dianne feinstein said that she believed that it was a determined effort that she thought to undermine bob mueller . they want assurances that this investigation is going to continue and that bob mueller is going to continue to do t
