so, and our firefighters that had been using firefighter foam, they were even higher. so, we really recognize that on the job chemical exposure, you know, are happening. we know that that's happening. we have the science now to lend evidence to that. but in the meantime, as we were kind of waiting for these results, and this is something i also learned, results took three years. we did all the recruitment and the sample collection in a year and it takes a long time to analyze all those results. so, during that time we, as firefighters, we are like this. ok, what can we do now? we know we are getting exposed, what can we do now? and wait, you have to wait for the results. we don't want to wait. so, what we did, we developed, we wanted to talk about prevention strategies and so we developed a training to illustrate those ways and interventions for firefighters to reduce exposure risk and we, it's called extinguishing breast cancer from the fire service. but it was all cancers from the fire service and we traveled the country, a group of firefighters from the usfw, a grou

three hours of digging for your firefighters. how are they doing?the crews made a very valiant attempt at saving this young woman's life. it hurts. it's tough. they worked really hard, like you said for nearly three hours, before we determined that this will be a recovery, as opposed to a rescue. we train to save lives and something like this today is difficult for us. crews worked really, really hard with shovels and their hands to try to locate the body of the young woman, it is very unfortunate circumstances, wrong place at the wrong time. just a very freak accident. >> did the woman who survive this, was she able to give crews any indication of where to look? >> undetermined at this point. i think, obviously, it is a very traumatic situation for her. she lost a friend. so she was very upset i think and emotional about it. but i think she was able to indicate where the location where they were walking, but it's quite a bit of land to come down, so it is very difficult and we don't have an idea, with the three hours of digging exactly where she is
