this is jeff bazos, the founder of amazon. today we checked and today technically he is the richest man on the face of the earth. he's also the owner of one of the greatest newspapers on the face of the earth, "the washington post." the president has made no secret of the fact that he does not like "the washington post", he does not like the way "the washington post" and it's reporters cover him and his administration and also been remarkably unsubtle in connecting his complaints about the journalism of the washington post to jeff bazos personally and to his ownership role of the washington post and amazon. in may of last year, for example, you might remember we learned that the president had personally, personally, individually directed the postmaster general of the united states that the post office should financially stick it to amazon, that they should hurt the company and by extension, jeff bazos' personal bottom line by doubling the postal rates that the u.s. post office charges amazon to ship its packages. the president
