[applause] >> and oftentimes when you talk about women and you talk about incredible women, it's usually names that most of us recognize as important figures, like kamala harris, who is running for president, and nancy pelosi, who is the speaker of the house, and amazing woman, and all of these incredible women from san francisco and all over the country. today i chose to honor a number of women who are also heros, who are heros in this city, who are heros in their respective communities, and they are doing things that are absolutely amazing, not because they're looking for recognition but because they love and care about their community. and they have spent their entire lives serving other people for the purposes of making sure that their communities and their cit
