house, president, tried to convince wednesday not to cooperate, et cetera, doesn't that strike you as -- as surprising coming from a man like william barr who did have a reputation before taking this current job for being an establishment type character who wouldn't risk list reputation to protect someone like president trump? >> but he also has a reputation of very broad view of executive power, and i think what we saw earlier here today and what we saw several weeks ago with his four-paining letter is an attempt to have a political narrative here that is critical clearly. he went out of his way today to say that he was facing speculation and spacing all sorts of things to his administration and the point sheer robert mueller is very troubled by it. he doesn't decide to exercise traditional prosecutorial judgment and he's really wrestling with all of these different acts so much so that he lays out for congress sort of chapter and verse a road map for obstruction of justice. i mean, congress can take this 400 pages right now and do everything it wants. it doesn't need a referral from barr. that was a political decision. that was a

cooperate. ation between members of the trump campaign and russian operatives and came to the chrome clue should that they had not on the issue of obstruction of justice once again william barr argued that there was not evidence to show that there had been any attempt by the president to obstruct the process of justice he cites ten incidents that are quoted within the report at which the special counsel specially looked and that its contents between members of the trump campaign and those who were disseminating material and finally a very important legal point made by william barr is that the dissemination of material illegally obtained does not itself constitute an illegal act that documents that were provided by russian hackers as the special counsel is found to organizations like wiki leaks that would then publicized or disseminated perhaps by members of the trump campaign that says william bob the attorney general does not constitute an illegal act so my is a critical point and something that the courts are likely to be looking at in the months and that is an important point because those e-mails those documents there is tape of president trump on the campaign trail
