abc's janai norman is here with the details. good morning, janai. >> reporter: good morning.have heard a lot about vaping and a second death linked to vaping. this time in oregon. officials say the patient was otherwise healthy and quickly became very ill, developing a severe lung illness after the device which contained thc from a recreational marijuana shop. officials haven't revealed the person's age or gender, and they haven't determined what sickened the adult or whether the person may have added something to the liquid or tampered with the device after it was purchased but officials say the symptoms were consistent with those of more than 200 cases of a mysterious respiratory illness linked to vaping including difficulty breathing, chest pain, vomiting and fatigue. fda investigators have reportedly found the same chemical in samples of some marijuana products used by some people who have gotten sick across the country. in a statement to abc news the fda saying identifying any compounds that are present in the samples will be one piece of the puzzle but will not necessar
