joining us is jim newsome, ceo of the south carolina port authority.s of the port and your workers? >> good morning, brian we shut the port at about 8:00 on tuesday night and under direction of the coast guard, all the ships left we secured the terminal, which is tieing the cranes and lift machines down and latching empty containers together, they're the most dangerous in the wind right now the port is closed we're just waiting it out and we're going to start opening operations tomorrow morning about 9:00 and hopefully work the first ships at 1900 tomorrow night. have to survey the harbor, make sure all the buoys are in place when the storm passes. >> are you that confident that you can kind of get back up and running in some fashion by tomorrow night, jim, given the size of the storm? >> well, you know, you are never confident. you make all the preparations that you can our team is very experienced at these types of things. i think we had three of these events in the last four years. but you are more hopeful than confident. we have a good plan. and, y
