we witnessed mission bay come up. the sports and entertainment complex will be a focal point with retail, housing, public transit and opportunity for small businesses to thrive in mission bay. it is the beginning of small business here. i am delighted to have so many of the public and private sectors. the golden state warriors will share what is happening on the stage. the warriors community foundation this past season donated $1.5 million in grant money in a single year to 49 separate organizations working to approve educational equality. we will have a chance to hear from them. i want to thank two board members who helped us. jennifer, the chief financial officer with the warriors and our chief revenue officer. please give them a hand. tam: mission bay was once a bay. it was an of the bay. it was marshy and brackish and kind of shallow. mission bay is finally getting built after many, many years of planning andgreements around infrastructure. there are some really importantt instns that are there now, new commercial buildings, as well. it's an area that is rapidly becoming a part of the urban fabric of san francisco where it really was once seen as, like, a strange and unoccupied place, but, because we planned it ina era before we were thinking of sea level rise, it's also very low-lying, and it's one of the city's more vulnerable places to future sea level rise. scholl: the problem is that the land is so valuable because it's now nd. development companies couldn't not build there. therrswere billions of dol in real estate to be had, but they built it in obably one of the worst places they could have. it was a bay in the past, andik it mosty will be a bay in the future. tam: we picked this part of the shoreline for a study aroung deconcepts for future sea level rise bec

in mission bay south, -- like i mentioned before, we are very active in mission bay south right now. slide a, this is just what you probably already know. i just wanted to touch on who our clients are at our affordable development, and we have limited housing options. i am just pointing out different area median income levels. we have folks that are very low, or below 50% median income, and then folks between, up to 80% is low income, and then we have housing that serves folks at moderate between 81% and 100 20% median income. and slide nine shows our completions through fiscal 17-18 , but these are showing genial results of completed projects and i just want to point out, right now it is at 78 % family rental, and then we've got 9% homeownership, and 7% senior senior rental, and 6% supportive. we do have projects in the pipeline for homeownership, more supportive, and senior rental. those percentages will shift over the next couple of years. okay, now what i want to do is jump in and just go through and plan out the specific projects in fiscal 17-18. we had four projects that comple

for identification purposes, i'm a native, a ten-year resident of mission bay and a rep on the south neighborhood association. over the past seven years, i have worked to be involved in the planning process for the mission rock development. together, we provided input on this project which helped to shape the project we see today. it strikes a delicate balance on the amount of parks, desperately needed housing, neighborhoods serving retail and office space. this brought together an amazing and diverse group of experts to fine the optimal mix of land services -- mixed land uses providing neglect to ensure success and delivery of her project. as important the elements of this project, the developers are key. the san francisco giant's organization will enfir inspire. the open space is a perfect example. we provided input to the components of the open space and to ensure was included in the first space of the development. the giants listened and found a way to make it happen. just a few months ago, we were invited to provide additional input mission bay is a developing community. housing

the project is for the construction of a ferry landing at mission bay ontario france while boulevard and sixteenth street. this is the request for authorization to have pre- authorized services. this is recently mentioned at the mission bay ferry landing information update presented to the port commission last month on june 11. our objectives for this presentation is to provide background information on the delivery method. the rationale for using this method as well as to get the port commission authorization to start the bid process. i will provide a brief background since we discussed this last month. the new ferry landing would be located across the street from the chase center. the location is also centrally located to ucsf, mission rock, san francisco's sciences community and over 8,000,000 square feet of new office, commercial, retail and housing. we would operate the ferry service and the design is now complete and documents are being prepared. as highlighted in the june 11 presentation, the project will support the strategic plan for the still ability and economic vitality.
