joining me to break it down, dagen mcdowell, senior writer at the wall street journal, john hill senshilsenrathwarren last night in the debate, she proved herself to be what is seen as the frontrunner now, but is standing on soft ground because she can't answer the direct question of whether middle class americans' taxes are going to go up to pay for her medicare for all plan. she's willing to raise her hand and say i'm going to take 180 million people's private insurance away but she can't honestly say how she's going to pay for it. she got hammered over and over again, particularly by mayor pete buttigieg who had his kind of debate of the campaign season so far. maria: she keeps ducking the question. every time you ask her, she says the same thing, well, costs will go up for the rich, costs will go down for the middle class. but she's talking about healthcare costs, not talking about how to pay for it. she will not admit that of course taxes are going to go up for the middle class. dagen: no, she will not. >> and she's also the candidate who is saying -- whose saying is i have a plan for that
