matt gates, a florida republican has gone in and gotten himself kicked out of this room a couple of times already. today he brought backup. it seems like republicans are trying to force the issue here on process, demanding that adam schiff, who has been the leader of this inquiry on the democratic side, open it up, if not to the full congress, at least to more committees. i know the word stunt is loaded, but it's the only accurate word i can use to describe this. this is well outside the rules of the house, well outside the rules by which these committees and by which most americans would hope their members of congress conduct themselves. but it's being done as republicans have tried and tried and tried to push back against this inquiry on process grounds. they have not been, frankly, very effective at arguing the merits of what we're learning mainly by leaks of what's coming out of these depositions, but they are trying as best they can to hammer democrats on what they say is sham process. this appears to be the latest, we know about this stunt that's happening on the hill? >> reporter:
