>>kay, linsey, thanks very much. michael. >>> all right, george. vaccine shortage as health officials are urging people to get vaccinated as soon as possible. dr. jennifer ashton is here with more, and doc, thank you of course, for being with us this morning, but we're hearing reports of shortages. what do we know, and what do you recommend for people who can't find a flu shot? >> well, first of all, the shortage reports are a little bit contradictory. the cdc and the manufacturers are saying absolutely not. there is no shortage. there's plenty for the season which is probably true. but sporadically we are hearing reports from syracuse, from milwaukee, my own mother went to five pharmacies in northern new jersey yesterday. they were all out of the vaccine for adults over the age of 65. we know that 70% to 85% of deaths occur in that age group. important for those individuals to try and get the vaccines that is recommended for ages 65 and over but for the general public, plenty of vaccine. >> the cdc says you should get vaccinated by the end of octo
