marc liverman is at the new york stock exchange with that and more. rning, marc. >> reporter: hey, good morning, wendy. yeah, it's the first day of the new year for wall street today. investors will get the weekly report on initial jobless claims. the dow closed up 76 points on tuesday. the s&p added nine, and the nasdaq gained 26 points. >>> major drugmakers including pfizer have increased prices on more than 200 drugs nationwide. that's according to the health care research firm three axis advisers. on new year's day, prices went up on drugs from hiv and multiple sclerosis treatments to arthritis and asthma medications. according to drugmakers, nearly all of the price increases will be below 10%, and around half are in the range of 4% to 6%. >>> a new study suggests artificial intelligence is more accurate than doctors in diagnosing breast cancer for from mammograms. the study showed ai could identify cancers with a similar degree of accuracy to radiologists while reducing false positive results by more than 5%. the study was published in the journal
